Behavioral Health

Behavioral health is a required service area for community health centers, and is one of the most challenging needs to meet for our patient population. Though it is a mandated service, providing behavioral health services in the primary care environment is fraught with challenges and many health centers address this need through a contract or referral basis due to those barriers. IA/NEPCA staff work to provide information, guidance, and resources to members as they work to address this challenging need in their communities.
