The goal of the Outreach and Enrollment Program is to increase Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program enrollment, (Hawk-I in Iowa and Kids Connection in Nebraska) at member community health centers through state-level advocacy and community based strategies. IANEPCA assists health centers in ensuring that any individual in the community who is eligible for Medicaid or S-CHIP is enrolled and able to use the available services. The goal of the Outreach and Enrollment program is to assist families, individuals and health centers to gain access to services and resources available in the community. The program works with special populations in targeted areas designing, coordinating, and implementing outreach activities and facilitating access to specific services. The special targeted by this program include: · Ethnic minority groups, · Rural populations, · Migrants and seasonal farm workers, and · Underserved and uninsured individuals and families.
