

Theodore J. Boesen, Jr. joined the Iowa/Nebraska Primary Care Association (IA/NEPCA) as Executive Director in July 2000 and is also Chief Executive Officer of a related organization, INConcertCare, Inc., which provides management information and other network services to member health centers.
Mr. Boesen grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and is a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He spent most of his healthcare career in California working in hospital settings in both Northern and Southern California. Mr. Boesen spent five years prior to joining IA/NEPCA working with the Wolfe Clinic in Marshalltown, Iowa.
Mr. Boesen spends most of his time advocating for the legislative and funding priorities of the association in both state capitols and in Washington, D.C. He works with representatives from the Health Resource Services Administration (HRSA) the agency that grants the health centers and association funds to ensure that quality primary care, oral health, and behavioral health services are available. Mr. Boesen works to ensure member health centers benefit from each other’s experience in serving the under- and uninsured residents of Iowa and Nebraska.
